저로서는 TP 4.0 발표 이후에 많이 기다리던 것이 있었는데요. 바로 AI AArdvark의 B737NG의 제작소식이었습니다. 게다가 제가 보는 시점에서는 'Release soon'이라는 말이 있어서 무척이나 기다리던 것이었는데, 마침네 AIA에서 B737-900을 발표하였습니다.

Just a few days short of our 2nd birthday here at aardvark, and after a long wait, the first of the Boeing 737 NG's have been released, the 737-900.
There aren't very many airlines flying the 737-900, so we've painted them all:
Alaska Airlines, Continental Airlines, Jet Airways, KLM (old and new), and Korean Airlines.

As usual thanks to our beta testers who made sure that the model released today is a lot better than the model that they first saw a month ago. The beta testers would be: Arnaud, Fokker, Iwazi, Skeptic_all and Trimotor.

A very special thanks to some new painters that we've pressured into helping us with the NG painting to come: Phillip Tan (Alaska Airlines), Alexis Solvay (Continental Airlines) and Denis Schranz (Jet Airways).

이전까지 잘 사용하던 Urakawa씨의 B739보다 확실히 좋은 디테일과 AIA의 장점중 하나인 LOD와 텍스쳐로 인해서 AI같지 않은 모습을 보여주고 있습니다. 비록 PMDG 737NG에는 비할바가 못되지만 AI계에서 불러올 이슈는 큰 것 같습니다. 이정도 디테일 만한 것이 없으니까요.

Adobe's Traffic Pack 4.1부터는 TU 739를 대신하여 AIA 739가 투입됩니다. 단, 아직 페인트킷이 나오지 않았으므로 대한항공 도장은 추후에 살펴보도록 하겠습니다.
AIA가 여태까지 한 기종을 내놓으면서 기종별 바리에이션을 안내놓은 적이 없으니 이번에도 B737NG 시리즈가 완성되지 않을까 예상합니다.
